Stu is exceptionally proud to announce the release of 'What Is Hip' by - Group Therapy.Three years ago while at a conference on First Nations issues in northern Ontario Stu was overwhelmed with a need to do something to bridge the gap with our First Nations communities. Coincidentally, the conference was on the same day that Gord Downie passed away. The result was an idea to assemble a band of Canada's best and brightest to re-imagine some of the Tragically Hip's timeless classics; all to benefit 'the Dreamcatcher Foundation'.Stu teamed up with Larnell Lewis, Rich Brown, Michael Shand, Eric St. Laurent, Laila Biali, and Joanna Majoko to assemble the band, and as a result, Group Therapy was born. With the help of super producer Gavin Brown, and Engineer extraordinaire, Darren Magierowski the ensemble spent a week on Six Nations reserve at Jukasa studios recordingtheir tribute to Canada's favourite band.
